Lone shares “Back Tail Was Heavy” video, new LP ‘Levitate’ out tomorrow

Matt Cutler, a.k.a. Lone, is back with his latest collection of IDM-inflected rave, Levitate. While Cutler went for more of an ethereal hip-hop sound on 2014's Reality Testing, his latest singles prove that he's been hungry to return to something with a sharper edge. The rave scene is dear to Lone, and "Back Tail Was Heavy" is like a love letter. Upon first release, it could only be heard by dialing a telephone number.
