Coming straight out of the "6", there's plenty to love beyond household names Drake and the Weekend. Toronto's electronic scene is peaking with classic acts including Keys N Krates, Zeds Dead and deadmau5 setting the production level high. These key artists hailing from Toronto truly set a foundation to the scene as they deliver a multifaceted range of sounds for a large audience of electronic music junkies.
Describing their eccentricity as "NuGarageFunkWave", electronic producer duo NuAlias comprehends this importance in elasticity when it comes to the notion of classifying a sound through genres. Their last release via Audiophile Live "Nox" was an impactful jumble of bass blanketed over a jarringly decelerating tempo. Taking inspiration from bass house, breaks, electro and more, their latest "Black Diamond" begins with plucky synths and a steadily climbing beat. The echoey nature of the track brings through a unique cryptic atmosphere, citing growing tensions within the track. As the growling bass-line begins to peak through the clicking percussions, the wallowing drop induces listeners into a hypnotic state suitable for nocturnal dance-floor frequents. With this release the duo do not disappoint and follow through in terms of production quality as well as twisting genres through their creative tendencies.
