Brooklyn production and brass duo Brasstracks have captivated us with their unique approach to electronica meets live music. They've seemingly reignited the music scene's interest in brass in general through their uplifting, danceable and soulful style, collaborating with artists across the map including Mark Johns, Grandtheft and B. Lewis. And though the duo formed just over a year ago, we have been expecting an official EP release, first teased with the debut of their single "Say U Won't" at the end of 2015.
The next phase of that forthcoming release is here in the form of "Good Love." The single is a new exploration we haven't yet seen from Brasstracks: hip hop. They've enlisted an impressive name on the collaboration – Jay Prince – a UK hip hop artist who has taken the music scene by storm, both online and places like BBC Radio 1. He's a perfect collaborator to work with Brasstracks, with his complex style that addresses nostalgia in a modern way. "Good Love" is exactly that – a song that makes us remember "back in the day" with an uplifting point of view.
