She may describe herself as "just a 22 year old 90's persian shorty who has a thing for good music", but Soulection-affiliated artist Sahar Habibi has been consistently taste-making music across her channels over the past couple of years. She's the next addition to our RESCAPE THE CITY lineup and is sharing an extra special 35-minute mixtape to get us amped up for the upcoming event kicking off in Chicago this Friday 5.6.

Habibi is a music devotee who puts no limitations on the genres of music she listens to. With an eclectic taste in genres, her styles and selections range comfortably from Hip-Hop, R&B, to Future Beats, Trap, and everything in between. On her latest mix series, carefully curated for RESCAPE, Sahar takes her listeners on a sonic journey, which highlights some songs she's feeling "In The Moment." While choosing her selection of tracks, Sahar chooses to not  focus too hard on which singles to intertwine, instead she freestyles her choices by feeling the vibe of the moment she’s in. Go ahead and get "In The Moment" with Sahar below.

We hope our Chicago fam makes it out this week, be sure to enter out VIP Giveaway if you haven't already!
