It's always refreshing to see great new acts enter a scene you follow closely. Over the last few years the very much Soundcloud-driven future bass scene has seen the rise of people like Louis the Child, Lido and Giraffage through bright, sunny melodies and colourful synths. The latest addition to the list of producers taking a step up to really make a mark on the scene is Toronto-native PUSHER. After a string of remixes and singles, including one of the best remixes of Major Lazer's global hit "Lean On", PUSHER recently announced an upcoming EP. It's clear that this is one to look forward to, as the lead single, "Clear (ft. Mothica)", will definitely make it's way on to a lot of our summer playlists.
"Clear" is bright, bouncy, and explains perfectly why PUSHER describes his style as "Neon". Mothica's voice, known through her collaboration with Elènne, as well as last year's beautiful Mythic EP, certainly complements the playful instrumental, and the wonderfully laid-back drop is surely going to make you thankful that Soundcloud has a repeat button. PUSHER's detailed production and Mothica's ethereal vocals will easily make you look forward to the upcoming EP, enjoy!
