"Hold On" let's "Take It Slow" for Luxxury's Deep & Disco disco debut

Los Angeles artist Luxxury (formerly Baron von Luxxury) is known for creating some delicious vibing disco cuts. Making waves with standouts like his rendition of The Eagles’ “Hotel California” and his groovy Melanie Martinez remix, it seems like Luxxury’s Blake Robin can do no wrong. Sending those sunny West Coast rays our way, the producer just made his debut on Deep & Disco with a double single and remix package for the Hold On / Take It Slow EP.

Released earlier this month, “Hold On” and “Take It Slow” boast breezy, classic disco-inspired melodies that encourage sitting back and taking it easy in the sun. The sexy bassline of "Hold On" comes together blissfully with Luxxury’s dazed synths and vocals, creating the perfect ambiance. As the B-side track,“Take It Slow” gets serious with that tropical percussion and whips out some Nile Rogers-esque guitar licks to complete the vibes. Both tracks will make welcome additions to those beachy summer playlists.

The Hold On / Take It Slow EP comes rounded out with remixes courtesy of Crackazat and JKriv. Where Crackazat injects some upbeat house energy into “Hold On,” JKriv pulls apart “Take It Slow” and turns it into this chilled out funky number. Luxxury's whole EP is available for your listening pleasure—find it out now on Deep & Disco Recordings.
