Los Angeles based band Dream Panther is one of the most interesting music groups that you may not have heard of yet. Comprised of producers and multi-instrumentalists Gregg Sheran, Nick Kosearas, and Caleb Stone, the group has been making their own ethereal blend of live and digital productions since 2013, and have been associated with a wide number of prominent hip-hop acts including ILOVEMAKONNEN, Father, Deniro Farrar, SPEAK, Mike Dece, and Pyramid Vitra.
The trio's latest single is a mellow-guitar lead slow burner entitled "Zen and Da Art of Machine Gun Maintenance" that shows off the group's range beyond hip-hop. It still contains that hazy atmosphere found in most of their productions, but it is more rooted in indie rock with Caleb live on drums and Greg showing off his soothing vocals and guitar-playing skills.
