When first hearing San Francisco-based rock band I the Mighty you may be reminded of post-rock artists like Saosin or Coheed and Cambria. Their latest song “Slow Dancing Forever,” shows their versatility and depth as musicians. Electronic sounds and driving melodies are blended to create a slow melody underscored by an upbeat danceable rhythm. It's a welcome evolution to the music many of us grew up and showcases an exciting side of the explosive group.
