DJ and production star Axwell is having a big week. First, he released his remix of Michael Feiner's "Mantra" on his own Axtone Records this past Friday. The single is truly stylistically Axwell, with some "Curacao" style flair in groovy flutes. "Mantra" marks the first collaboration between Feiner and Axwell since they worked on the now iconic house track "Together" in 2005, and "Mantra" calls upon the same sentiments of that time, and its release is seemingly timed to head into summer and Ibiza season.

But "Mantra" is not the only Axwell track we're playing today. The second single on our radar from the Swedish artist has the tables turned – a newly remixed version of "Waiting For So Long (Gloria)" which he debuted earlier in 2016 as a part of the Axtone 10 anniversary compilation. The new, show stopping look comes from up and coming producer RavenKis, a long time fan of Axwell who remixed "Together" earlier on in his career, and has released music on Axtone himself.
RavenKis's remix of "Waiting for So Long (Gloria)" immediately raises the question, "Why haven't we heard of this guy before?" The Parisian producer's sound perfectly emulates the vibe of fan favorite Axwell tracks in the early 2000's under his own name and those as Supermode. The production is from RavenKis is mature, smooth, funky disco that's euphoric and uplifting all without being too in your face, and showcases the fleeting vocals in their happiest form. And even better, it's out for free download.
