Bibio teams with Gotye for "The Way You Talk"

Bibio's forthcoming album for Warp, A Mineral Love, keeps getting sweeter and sweeter with each taste we get.  Stephen Wilkinson seems focused on vocals and pop arrangements this time around, although the first three singles have all explored those things in their own way.  His latest, "The Way You Talk" is a brief, shimmering ambient track, with Gotye stepping in on vocals – a pretty unprecedented move for Bibio.  It works perfectly, Gotye's voice isn't even that far away from Wilkinson's, and it fits right in with Bibio's gorgeous guitar layering.  A Mineral Love is out April 1.

I received my degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and Virginia is still home. Apart from my yearly pilgrimage to Moogfest and occasional shows in DC, Detroit, and New York, I like to stick to the fringes, with an eye always open toward music that is forward-thinking and unique, whatever the genre.
