Austin-based indie rock group Daniel Eyes & The Vibes recently released their debut EP Sweet Dreaming. Their sound is a sonic blend of psych and indie rock with the tinge of southern rock that is prevalent in the great state of Texas. The title track, "Sweet Dreaming" is a lyrical yearning for childhood and the simplicities that came along with it. They played on this sentiment when creating the visuals for the video. It is a bit of surrealism mixed with nostalgia. Frontman Daniel Eyes and the video's female protagonist wear white t-shirts as scenes from movies they loved as children are projected on them. Shots from classics like Grease and Sister Act can be seen and help to amplify this sense of whimsy and longing. It's a clever and creative video to accompany a compelling and entrancing song.
