With its reference to the integral musical term, Scales's artist name already calls to the multitude of influences making marks on his musical style. The London-born and bred producer and DJ's house music productions have been circling around the airwaves since his debut with Basecamp last year, and since, he's been producing originals like "Love's Got Me High" and remixes of everyone from Rudimental to Mya.
While his music's been in the rotation on BBC Radio 1, he's been prepping for his next release, now out on Simma Black. Entitled "Fall In Love," Scales's latest single features a retro, uniquely UK and g-house inspired production, and a futuristic, yet passionate vocal performance from Adana. Out today, "Fall In Love" has the hallmarks of a sleeper Beatport chart topper and a potential game-changer for Scales.
