Intec Digital is celebrating their 100th release, with two-track EP Intec 100. Carl Cox runs the label, originally set-up back in 1999, and relaunched in 2010 with extra help from Jon Rundell. Fast forward 100 releases and it’s the two label bosses who have each produced a track to mark the milestone for the imprint. Celebrating releasing music from esteemed and exciting producers.
Lifting the lid on the landmark, Carl says: “These tracks from Jon and I are to say thank you to all the clubbers, radio stations and techno and house music lovers from all over the world that have danced to our beat. Here's to the next 100!”
Jon Rundell's input "Utopia" is a peak-time smasher, not for the faint-hearted. Whilst Carl’s contribution, “Your Light Shines On” is in tribute to his late mother. “This release is dedicated to my Mum who passed this year, so here's to her that brought me into this world. Enjoy this EP,” he says. It’s pinned down by a tech force, and pays homage to his Barbadian roots, with steel drums.
