The Dominican Republic’s Marcio Lama has been producing since 2007, drawing his inspirations from some of the best progressive house producers before dance music’s “big bang,” and bringing in Eric Prydz, Daft Punk, Axwell and Deadmau5 together in his unique production style. Collaborating with big room artists like Ken Loi and working on his own melodic, poppy tracks with ethereal singers like Binks, Lama’s preference in style really runs the gamut, but has been impressive with each endeavor he embarks on. And this time, his latest is a track filled with big energy, attention to detail, and a mature progression in production.
The single, entitled “Repento,” is out for free download today, and features glittering progressive production topped with ethereal vocals, and a breakdown that hails back to his influences from producers like Steve Angello and Axwell.
