Rising artist AURORA has already been hailed as an Artist To Watch by Rolling Stone and we wholeheartedly agree. Her voice soars above her catchy blend of dark and ethereal pop, creating a unique sound that is as captivating as it is addicting. This week, she released her music video for, “Conquerer.” The song itself is an earworm filled with upbeat melodies and a gripping vocal performance from the 19-year-old singer. Her voice has similarities to Björk and her sound is in the likes of the theatricality of Florence And The Machine mixed with the driving dark pop vibe of Grimes. The video showcases her trying to escape some sort of medieval prison while she makes plenty of gestures that give Maddie Ziegler a run for her money. Conqueror is off her debut album, All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend out March 11 via Glassnote Records. Without a doubt AURORA is going to blow up this year, so get familiar now.
