As you've heard and perhaps noticed, we're all becoming zombies due to our smartphones and their entrancing power over us. It's a pandora's box that isn't going to close and we've all accepted it, but not Jeff Kush. Throughout his new album Food for Thought he challenges the value of technology that virtually enslaves us, a notion we can all relate to deep down.
For the single "iPhone," Jeff Kush teams up with his brother, Abrax Phaeton, to preach on the subject. Both rappers focus on uncommon topics in their music, with an emphasis on positivity and unpopular truths. "Don't degrade your generation" Kush says at one point, and he's right, we're all letting ourselves be controlled just a little bit. Jeff Kush's Food for Thought is available now, and Abrax Phaeton just released his long-awaited In the Middle LP.
