International star Steve Angello's resume just keeps growing and growing in 2016. After almost a year of hype, the Grammy-nominated, platinum selling DJ, producer and label head over at SIZE Records released the intricate, meticulously multi-dimensional masterpiece in the release of Wild Youth to great acclaim last month. And it seems, that's not the end of new projects for Angello in the new year.
We've seen artists like Kanye West create a full experience around music and fashion, tying lifestyle and music together in spectacle and meaning. After showing strong ties to fashion in his work and support for growing label En Noir, Steve Angello has announced that he too will show his passion beyond his music, hosting an exhibit that will feature various work across multiple art forms: photography, design, sculpture, video, fashion and of course, in music. Curated by Angello himself, the exhibit will take place over four days during New York Fashion Week, February 11-14th at ADC Gallery in New York City.
At the center of the exhibit is a new capsule colleciton he's worked on with Odeur Studios, featuring fashion pieces that were inspired by his track "Tiger" from Wild Youth. The exhibition will debut with the premiere of the music video at its launch this Thursday, and to culminate the project will be playing an intimate show at Highline Ballroom on Sunday, February 14th. A preview of the collection is available below, as well as further information on tickets here.
