Yes Alexander's contributions to the Blue Sky Black Death family go way back, when she did all of the vocals on their 2008 album, Slow Burning Lights. More recently she appeared on the song "Wednesday" by Qreepz, another member of the BSBD crew and member of the Ultra Glacial Records roster. "Glacial" is a great description for Alexander's sound as well, as she's spent quite a bit of time in Iceland, and you can hear hints of experimental artists like The Knife in her chilly electro pop.
Yes Alexander's new album KYANITE is out now, with synths and vocals from Alexander, and drums by Charles Earl Richard. Check out "Iceland" and "Olov's Party" below, as well as the video for "Fever." You can stream the rest of KYANITE here.
