There hasn’t been so much talk about an upcoming album in the past few years like there has been about Eric Prydz’s upcoming debut album Opus, out February 5th. Not wanting to keep his fans waiting for the whole album, last Friday Eric Prydz released “Breathe,” a track featuring the unmistakable voice of Knife Party and Pendulum frontman Rob Swire.
Eric Prydz sets the tone of “Breathe” with a remarkably slower tempo than is normal for Prdyz and a more traditional percussion. Prdyz anchors the track with 80’s styed synths, providing the perfect backdrop for Rob Swire’s soaring vocals. After one listen, it is no wonder that Annie Mac named “Breathe” her Hottest Record In The World on her own radio show.
This is definitely one track and album you will not want to miss. Pick up your copy of Opus when it drops on February 5th.
