Sagan joins Don Diablo's Hexagon for "Boomers" [Premiere]

This month, electro soul pioneering producer Don Diablo will celebrate his brand new label's first entry into a new year. Hexagon has been hailed as a breakthrough sensation by industry leaders like Beatport, and with Don Diablo's leadership has become a place where, in the increased policing of and absence of crowdsourcing from places like Soundcloud, a haven and incubator for new and upcoming talent.

 

Starting off 2016 right in a way that will define the rest of their year to come, Hexagon is releasing an EP showcasing some of those artists they support. Entitled Generation HEX, each track is done by a new artist helping to define the label's future, including NOMNOM, Khrebto and Jonas Aden. We have a first listen to the first track from the EP, a big room, soulful house track entitled "Boomers" from Kiev, Ukraine's Sagan. With an array of influencing catalysts from hip hop, French electro and the underground, "Boomers" encompasses energy harnessed from many different musical stylings, and is an impressive foray into 2016. Hexagon is a new label run by Dutch DJ/producer Don Diablo, named by Beatport as one of 2015’s Breakthrough Labels, and is known for finding & introducing new artists to a wide dance audience.
