The White Panda's new album has something for everyone [Free Download]

It's been some time since we've heard from The White Panda. The production duo who made a name for themselves when they formed in 2009 from creating a brand out of outstanding mash ups.  Since then, they have had 27 of their singles reach #1 on Hype Machine, but it's been some time since we've heard something substantial from the group, as the importance of totally original work has come to the forefront of dance music. However, we've seen the resurgence of the mash up as creating a new track in and of itself, with artists like Matoma seeing success with tracks that can't really be labeled as original, remix, or mash up at all.

What The White Panda was most successful at out of many of their blog-haus era contemporaries (anyone remember Mochi Beats?), is the ability to take the new and the old and create something fun-loving, lighthearted and nostalgic all in one. That's what they've done once again on their sixth album, entitled The Pawprint. Full of 32 tracks that are engaging and enticing, they've molded mash ups that include a multitude of artists into an intricate piece of art that reminds us why we loved them in the first place.

Download the album as a continuous mix or separated tracks, or stream below.

"'The Pawprint' is our sixth full-length album and most accomplished work to date. With a more electronic focus than our previous albums, The Pawprint reflects our evolving tastes as artists but also pays homage to the styles that first put us on the map. With samples from more than 70 artists across five decades of music, The Pawprint is an encyclopedic party soundtrack for anyone who tunes in."
