It's Black Friday. A semi-holiday many people have begun to boycott and see the negatives in… One positive we see today is the king of rap, Kendrick Lamar, dropping a new tune over J. Cole's "A Tale of 2 Citiez".
This is one of the best songs I've heard from Kendrick, straying from his style used on To Pimp a Butterfly to bend the rules and preach about corporate attitudes in music and in general. "You're better off voting for Donald Trump" is the key phrase in this song. He highlights the issues we have in society today, with materialistic undertones and ridiculous media exploits. I love that Kendrick did this because if there is any rapper out there whose words carry more than just past a Soundcloud repost, it's him.
