When we caught wind of the new wave of UK music coming from the raincy city of Manchester, we were truly excited by what we heard. The likes of Bipolar Sunshine & GAIKA were flying the flag high for British creatives, and setting alight speakers across the globe.
With new tracks surfacing amongst music video releases, GAIKA is back with the full project he's been working on, entitled Machine. Sitting at 10 tracks deep, this project sits inbetween an EP and a mixtape, with some incredibly sublime production forming the solid base of Machine. With lead singles "Heco" and "Blasphemer" already bedding themselves firmly into the forefront of project, this 'tape is jammed full of joints that had us nodding with approval. Tracks like "Lick The Knife" and "NQIKA" keep the dark, yet pulsating theme going throughout, making for a breathtaking listen from start to finish. Truthfully, there's not one weak link on Machine, and much like the artist himself, the aura given off from this project is one of darkness and mystery.
