Neil Thomas takes us "Home" and shows us around his soulful pop

London based singer/songwriter Neil Thomas is ready to take the world by storm with his soulful blend of pop and rock. His song “Home” sounds like The Black Keys meets Fitz and the Tantrums, taking that raspy, jingly sort of rock sound to more of a pop-based soul approach. For Neil, “Home” is “A song about losing your mind, being full of worries and problems, and trying to get away from the city. It’s about madness.”

The madness translates wonderfully into a track with this upbeat spirit, spearheaded by Neil’s vocal tone and nods to classic soul. You can tell he grew up listening to all the great rock and soul records. “Home” is one of those tracks that you’ll love to hear all over the place—out at the store, on the radio in the car, at the gym, out to dinner, etc. It’s infectious and even with the slight edge, it’s a song you can still let loose to and have a bit of fun.
