Blende remixes Phonat's "Fire" featuring Jolie and the Key [Premiere]

Coming by way of Italy, London and LA, Phonat has been described as a "maverick" and hailed by Skrillex as one of the most "underrated" producers of his generation. His debut self-titled album was boundless back in 2009, and since then, he's been working to push his music further with releases like his latest. "Fire" features the vocals of Jolie and the Key, and since its release via OWSLA has attracted some of Phonat's contemporaries to put together a remix EP of the track. We have a first listen to one of the the tracks that you can order today via iTunes.

Alongside Arches, London's Blende has brought his own brand of "neon disco" to "Fire." A laid back, rock-influenced vintage synth pop take on the original, Blende has brought an uplifting and chill look to Phonat's original. Check it out below.
