This past summer, London's Kayper stunned our ears with her Terminal EP and all its sleek, house glory. Now the producer is back with a new single that reworks Erykah Badu's "Next Lifetime." Naturally, the track has that soulful Badu energy, but Kayper manages to make something to get the people dancing.
Everything starts off pretty chill and soft, but then the glossy production grows and breaks into hand claps and a deep-rooted beat. The pitched-down vocals might be a little uneasy to the ears at first, but the energy and quality production that Kayper lays down makes up for it.
