Some artists hit their stride immediately, and some take a few releases to strike gold. The latter is what's happened for London house music producer Kideko, whose brand of house music hit its stride with the release of "The Jam." Reviving iconic 1990's dance vocals from Technotronic's "Pump Up The Jam" and chopping and screwing them in such a way to make them modern, and not an attempt to compete with the original, Kideko successfully achieved in tapping the nostalgia that many artists have strived for. Using inspiration from house and the underground, "The Jam" is addictive and energetic, and now has a video to match.
The music video for "The Jam" features just as much infectiousness as the audio, detailing a care-free bobble head character's journey bringing his aura into a washed out, monochromatic new place. Check it out below.
