Los Angeles has grown to become a major melting pot of countless forms of various electronic music. One of the city’s very own duo's gLAdiator proves this even more so with their latest remix announcement. Stepping out from their norm of wild, festival raging productions, Dan and Ian take a more laid back approach in their remix of Melanie Martinez single "Soap" which will be released October 23rd via Atlantic Records.
In this stellar rendition gLAdiator takes a more mellow approach, respecting Melanie's vocals while adding a swift and polite harmonious piano break down. Longing to understand the influences behind why gLAdiator chose to take this direction with their sound was beyond me, but what it does show is the duo isn't afraid to step out of their comfort zone musically and add a more integrity-driven identity to their musical mantra.
