Whyel returns toting his "Middle Finger" free download

Known for his genre-defying behavior, Whyel has grown to become the west coast's up and coming wild boy. For quite sometime I’ve tried to put my finger on what exactly his sound is, and for the life of me I can’t. Each of his songs is a sporadic combination of genres, and proves that he’s not afraid to step out of the artistic sound he’s most comfortable with.

Whyel is most notably known for being the up and coming protege of Deorro and his brand "Panda Funk." His career took off when Deorro took notice of him and gave him a platform to showcase to the world the soon-to-be stars incredible talent. Recently, Whyel had made the ultimate decision to move in a different direction with his career and music and left the Pandafunk brand to focus on growing as an artist, but also to push his music in directions he felt Panda Funk wasn’t. Nevertheless, Whyel has done nothing but been on a rampage since the departure. Making it imperative to his fans that making sure they are supplied with fresh new music regularly has become his mantra, with release after release, he’s cultivated a die-hard fan base that appreciates him primarily for his honesty and love through music.

Whyel’s latest "Middle Finger" gives the listener an inside look into his personality as an artist. With a pounding bass drum over a sampled vocal shouting out "middle finger high," you can instantly feel the direction and statement Whyel wanted to make. Just as Whyel gets you to raise your "middle finger" he doubles up on the production and transitions the drop into a dubstep lover's playground. This will certainly make his fans known as the "Rage Brigade" go nuts.

Whyel’s next release will be featured on Carnage’s debut album Papi Gordo in the track”Bootshaus”. Papi Gordo is available for pre-order now, and set with a provisional release date of October 30th.
