Anyone that tells you trap is dead is just not keeping up with the times. Trap is simply going through the natural course of evolution. London’s Troyboi and Stooki Sound are great examples of this, both with the reputations for being cutting edge.
Troyboi and Stooki Sound are no strangers to each other, playing a number of shows together and consistently showing love for each other’s artistic endeavors. To rep their roots and headway, they’ve teamed up to produce “W2L” (Welcome to London), released via Mad Decent. The song begins with an eerie intro, like some chorus in a haunted cathedral, then quickly transforms into a score you’d hear from Blade Runner. Once you hear their signature tags, you can expect to be devoured by bewitching madness.
