Last week I previewed the San Diego festival approaching this weekend, CRSSD, and highlighted 5 acts I feel that you can't miss if you're in attendance. Let's call this post a slight revision, as I add Cesare to my "Acts I wish were at CRSSD." However, the selection today comes from Oliver Nelson, who I will be seeing this coming weekend. He linked up with the Panamanian to give us a remix to pump us up for the festivities.
Brazilian producer Cesare is looking for a break onto the scene, and this remix collaboration is an awesome, official foot forward in doing so. He's curated a nice disco tune off of Oliver's original, adding more intense beat breaks and repetitive synth lines. After reviewing the musician/soccer coach's profiles, I found this song (and his past works) reflect who he is down to the core. It's upbeat and lively, strictly for dancing, and generates all around positivity. Although we won't be able to see Cesare at CRSSD, I'm rather sure that we'll be hearing this one at pre-games and after-parties.
