Earlier this year, we were introduce to Chicago's Kryptogram with his funky and modern look into R&B and synth pop with "Bless It." Today, he's back to prove himself once again, and it's becoming clear that his influences and personal production style have an impressively wide range.
On "Idea of You," Kryptogram switches gears into a funky, upbeat track that straddles the line between dance music and electronica. By far, the best part of the piece is the homage to smooth jazz and lounge music, through the incorporation of sensual guitar riffs juxtaposed airs of vintage vocal samples.
