Not too long we heard quite a different story from LA based rapper and 1/3 of the trio K Theory, Malcolm Anthony. His last release, "Groupie Love," was about just that, multiple girls showing him superficial love. His latest single released earlier this week is much deeper and more personal.
"Melanie" is a story about a lost love and an imagined future down the road with a single girl that clearly stole the heart of the young rapper. Lyrically strong, Malcolm Anthony does what few can, tells a story with poetry, unlike of the usual drab rhyming for rhyming sake that is found is most hip hop in 2015. The heartfelt lyrics by Anthony are perfectly paired with some stellar production by none other than Ricky Remedy.
