Dutch duo 16 Bit Lolitas returned to their frequent home of industry leading Anjunadeep last week to release their latest EP. A collection of three tracks, Stardust is a continuation of the dreamlike journey through deep house that the guys have made rock solid throughout their career building their own label, Bits & Pieces, and working with Aramda as well as their most recent home at Anjunadeep.
The lead track "Stardust" features an appearance from Lucy Iris, and is a movement through entrancing guitar. Through listening it almost emulates the feeling of just waking up or just falling asleep in the most calming way. "Love Left" features more trancelike elements, focusing on a unique combination of light, simple melody that's supported by vocal samples that fade off into the horizon of the musical landscape of the track. Lastly, "Sediment" rounds out the EP with the more classic deep house we expect to see from 16 Bit Lolitas – perfect for a little sunrise set on the beach.
