Today, I’d like to introduce the first release from an exciting new artist. “Zapusk” by UK singer/producer, Kodiak Blue, is the first glimpse of his upcoming, debut EP, Sputnik. Kodiak Blue captivated my attention with this enticing synth-pop number, comprised of glitchy, rubbery bass boiling under his celestial vocals.
The Sputnik project, as you might have guessed, draws inspirations from the Soviet’s mission into space, and “Zapusk” (translates to “launch” in English) is the perfect way for us to embark on such a melodic adventure. Stay tuned, Kodiak Blue is hot on our radar now.
