This year has been a big one for Italian house label d:vision and one of their most proud signees, Francesco Rossi. With his track "Revolution," he struck a chord with listeners who remember his hit "Paper Aeroplane," and appreciate his laid back approach to electronic music enforced with passionate vocals. With the success in execution of "Revolution," many have come to remix the track, including Dalt Vila, and now up and coming Florence-based producer Alex Neri Tenax.
Debuted on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show last Friday, Tenax has taken "Revolution" into the depths of the underground garage house movement. Minimal but heavy production amplifies the melancholy in the track's original vocals, creating an eerie but groovy affect. The remix is out September 28th, but until then, listen below.
