Earlier this summer, Ana Criado teamed up with Aurosonic and trance music mainstay Raz Nitzan Music to release "The Force Of the Blow." The single only aided in Criado's long resume of trance releases, where her emotive leading voice has made its way to be one of the most coveted in the genre through hits like "I'll Listen" and "Suddenly Summer" with Armin Van Buuren. This week, "The Force Of The Blow" has resurfaced but with a new look from up and coming producer UCast.
We first encountered the Belarusian artist in his techy, high BPM work on a remix for Aly & Fila's "In My Mind." Since then, he's worked on solo tracks like "Ramp," where he has begun to show his prowess in understanding the power of melody in a genre like trance, where emotion is so prevalent. Bringing "The Force Of The Blow" up to a higher BPM with a lush uplifting soundscape, he's done Criado's vocals justice.
