They say that two's company and three's a crowd. However, that certainly isn't the case for London based duo Horixon who've joined forces with Else Born for "Colours," their forthcoming Eskimo Recordings release. Together they've managed to create a record that has the capability to draw both a smile and a tear.

It doesn't take long to realize that "Colours" is a truly fitting title, as the record swiftly develops into a vivid kaleidoscope of sounds that's kept in motion by the stunning, fragile vocal. The chunky bass line gradually paves the way for soul-stirring strings and delicately sprinkled synth keys as the stigmatized phrase 'pop music' is redefined and revamped into a credible and extremely atmospheric record. The pace of the track is good, encouraging a real engagement with the intricately layered production through the necessary sacrifice of a club friendly tempo. The track has already had early support from music demigod  Skream on his BBC Radio 1 show, and you'll be able to show yours from the 4th of September.
