Made up of singer-songwriter Moria Or and producer Jonathan Maimon, MARBL is a long distance duo who look to draw on beauty in both simplicity and in being genuine. While Moria is based in Israel and Jonathan resides in London, MARBL's dynamic is anything but traditional, aiding them in standing out in a mostly cut-and-dry landscape. While both Moria and Jonathan are definitely talented enough to make a name for themselves on their own, coming together as MARBL brings out a strong sense of depth from the duo.
Filled with unconventional vocal runs and a serene style, MARBL's newest song "Time Takes Time" continues the journey set forth by their earlier material. However, unlike the majority of their music, "Time Takes Time" does not focus on the exchange between Moria's piano playing and vocals. Instead, a hushed acoustic plays passenger to a stand out vocal performance, allowing the singing to breathe and develop in a natural way. As a whole, "Time Takes Time" finds the duo continuing their trend of carefully crafting each of their songs to draw on the emotions introduced throughout.
