Flamingo Pier wants you to “Say It Like You Mean It” and groove like you mean it

Party night turned production collective Flamingo Pier is all about spreading the good vibes. The London-based group, comprised of Flamingo Pier residents Luke Walker, Brad Craig, and Don Jones, is back with the second single from their forthcoming debut EP. This one’s called “Say It Like You Mean It” and it boasts the same breezy, nonchalant synth pop as the group’s first single “Waiting For You.”

With a stronger lean into disco, thoughts of LCD Soundsystem, Holy Ghost!, The Juan MacLean, and all things DFA come to mind when “Say It Like You Mean It” starts up. A cool shuffle meets this badass bassline and accenting synths, but you won’t be finding James Murphy on this one. Instead, Flamingo Pier will be releasing this on their label along with the full EP when the time comes. Look for more info and tracks on their SoundCloud page.
