I'm going to let you guys in on a little secret… a lot of the posts on the site, at least mine, are written in the wee hours of the night and not within the half hour of when they are published. I'm only divulging this fact to reveal that Khruangbin's latest track fits the mood of the late night better than any track has in the last couple of months.
"White Gloves" makes the room feel like it's being lit by an old, probably shitty, record player, during those crucial moments you'll one day sit and reminisce about… it's the exact type of song stuff memorable soundtracks are made out of. With hints of soul, indie, and just a dash of innocence, the track is utter perfection while I type slightly sleep deprived.
