Carly Rae Jepsen has defined pop music odds. The 29-year old singer songwriter broke into the music scene with an over the top catchy hit, almost cementing her as a one hit wonder in the eyes of many music aficionados. But there would be life after "Call Me Maybe," and it's been going well for the British Columbian singer ever since, with her track "I Really Like You" capturing the pop music audience again as a summer hit this year. The track comes from her third album, due out August 21st via School Boy / Interscope Records.
Today, ahead of the album's release, the latest single off of Jepsen's upcoming album, "Run Away With Me," has been announced to have a slew of remixes to compliment the original's uplifting demeanor. Among those invited to remix the track is Cyril Hahn, a producer who has helped create a new vision for deep house and chilled out electronica into the future. Since the release of his Begin EP a few weeks ago, the Swiss artist has been rather quiet, but returns today to put his spin on "Run Away With Me." Hahn has executed his signature laid back deep house on the single with simple, retro drumlines and a stripped back, yet poppy synth progression to compliment Jepsen's vocals.
