Last year London based artist Shift K3Y took the world by storm with his incendiary single “Touch.” His blend of pop, garage, and house music melded together like rich whisky on ice. Since then, he has released another single “Name & Number,” toured around the world, and done a hand full of sexy remixes – most notably is this naughty edit of “Scrubs.” This week, Shift dropped two new songs “2 Doors,” and “Crying In My Sleep.” Two doors is a more melodic ballad brooding with sensuality and passion. Crying In My Sleep is a faster song where soulful vocals are paired with bouncing bass melodies that compliment the song better than sriracha on eggs. These songs are off his forthcoming project Off The Record. Over the next couple of months, Shift K3Y will be releasing new songs from this project every 2 weeks.
