It seems like the OVO Sound crew have been cooking up quite a storm recently. The label is home to some incredibly talented people, from the likes of head honcho Drake, to the amazing duo of Majid Jordan, to the soothing sounds of PARTYNEXTDOOR, the collective are slowly growing into a formidable force.
The latest artist to be affiliated with OVO, Roy Wood$, is set to be a HUGE problem. You may have seen him appear in Drake's latest video for "Energy", and he's been putting out a steady stream of killer music, which has always been consistently good. As he gears up to launch his latest project Exis, the Toronto crooner has dropped two more brand new joints on us, and surprise surprise they're both flames. "Get You Good", see's the young singer put a whole lot of feeling into a girl, with so much passion oozing from his voice that it got me in my feelings, straight up. The second track Wood$ dropped, "Drama", features his mentor Drake, and is as equally as dope. A laid back flow accompanies an incredibly atmospheric beat, and see's Roy go abck to back with Drizzy, who you can clearly hear a little bit of influence in his work. Drake doesn't disappoint with his verse either, getting his falsetto on and in typical Drizzy style, he speaks that real talk about women and relationships. I mean what's a Drake feature without him putting girls on blast?
You can stream both new joints below, and be sure to keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK for the release of Wood$ Exis project! What so you think of Wood$? Is he due to blow?
