Once again, Dutch producer Mason has reminded us of why we are happy he is back at producing after some years away from the spotlight. After his iconic "Exceeder" was revived with a house remix from UMEK and Mason's own quirky Nite Rite EPs, this week he's back with something a bit different angle: a nu disco remix.
Here Mason has applied a muted guitar-inspired synth-led remix to fellow Dutch singer Janne Schra's "Carry On," in an execution that makes the track an almost indie pop single. It's fun-loving and upbeat with a worldly groove that is pretty addictive. Out via Embassy One today.
