We can't tell you all the details of who lives behind the Heartland moniker, but suffice it to say there's a talented artist at work who found themselves again after a journey across the Appalachian mountains. A few weeks back, this seasoned hand delivered a preview of their self-titled track, an eclectic mix of beats and melodies from around the world that drops on July 24th via Junkdog Records. Paired with the release will be two remixes: one by Cassini and the other by a familiar face here at EARMILK, Purple Disco Machine. The German producer continues his quest to fill the world with seventies sensibilities, this time bringing a grooving remix of hi hat and crisp percussion that meld with the original's vocals.

There's more to come from Heartland, and you can always find the latest news from PDM on his website.
