From the moment I pressed play on Mark Maxwell's new single "Give Me A Chance." , there was something very enticing about the fact that this was his debut solo single. In a collaboration with LA singer/songwriter Jason Gaffner, the Australian producer demonstrates a style that seems closer to a well seasoned producer, and that is true, as he is one-half of Aussie electronic duo Yale. Citing influences of some of house musics legends like Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries and Jesse Saunders, Mark puts his production talent on display, while giving us a proper introduction to his music style and we are certainly left wanting more.
