We last saw Antenna Happy a few months back for the nostalgic remake of The Doobie Brother's "Long Train Running". This time Nathan Pope reappears with an original track off his forthcoming EP featuring two works, "Body" and today's number, "Day Four". Always techno at heart, the British producer reigns supreme by crafting hypnotic tunes that entrance through a balance of steady rhythms against sporadic meddlings. "Day Four" holds true, as melodic runs and seemingly improvised bells sound off in front of a pulsing synth line. However, don't take my word for it. Antenna Happy's allegiance to vinyl is no secret, and you can preorder both "Day Four" and "Body" off his Bandcamp for their Reinhardt Records release early this fall.
