Ben G is a name that I've seen come up many times in the music game. Up until today, I haven't sat down and checked out his work; now I realized I should've checked him out sooner. The South Carolina turned Atlanta resident has recently signed with turn up god turned presidential candidate Waka Flocka's imprint, 36BRICKHOUSE, so you know he's in good hands. And if "Just Believe" is also your first foray into the young but hungry artist, I think you'll dig Ben's sound.

"Just Believe" acts as a celebration of Ben's own accomplishments and a reflection of how he's been able to turn the obstacles in his life into achievements. Additionally, it gives those of us going through tough times some inspiration. Visually, Ben manages to do a lot given the video's juxtaposition of calm moments and tense, hi-hat heavy bars, making the pairing one that shows Ben's diverse skills and talents. Make sure you stay on the lookout for his next EP, Spanish Moss & Collard Greens, which should be out sometime later this year.
