I've never had the privilege to work with Marie Dahlstrom before. Nor have I had the chance to even hear music by Sophie Faith. However, today I have an exclusive from the two songstresses, which kills two birds with one stone on my blogging bucket list. Not only that, but EARMILK and I reunite with in-demand producer DK the Punisher.

It's important to know that this isn't just a random get together of internet artists. This is a collaboration of epic proportions where some of the most talented (and yet, unheard of) artists in the game today stepped outside their respective three genres to form a sensational  alternative R&B composition. Sounds like a lot to live up to, right? Well Marie is a three-time winner at the Scandinavian Soul Awards, Sophie is one of the purest acts to recently hit the scene, and DK is only 23 and rising. Dream team maybe?

"Look The Other Way" channels elements from the 1998 hit track from Brandy and Monica’s battle "The Boy Is Mine" back to Summer 2015. This is a method we have seen quite a bit lately, as electronic music takes a backseat and sampling the past steps in like a new sport. I love this song because it truly is a representation of how 2015's music has taken a sharp turn from 2014 back to quality: instrumental approaches to production and vocals.

This is start of what is set to be a busy and hotly-tipped rest of the year for Marie, who has been busy working on material with various producers and artist collaborations for a forthcoming EP, set for release this summer. We haven't seen much from Sophie, but this is a big break. And, as always, DK continues to grow. Take a listen to "Look the Other Way" below:
